Warren E. Logan, Jr.
President & CEO
Warren E. Logan, Jr. is in his 15th year as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga.  Prior to joining the Urban League, Warren served in various Management positions at the Tennessee Valley Authority’s Division of Power.  For several years he served as Executive Director of the Office of Minority Business Enterprise, Statewide Business Development Centers for Chattanooga, Memphis and Nashville, TN.  

Warren is a graduate of TN State University in addition to holding several management designations.   A self acclaimed life-long learner,  Mr. Logan has completed continuing education and leadership training at the Whitney M. Young, Jr. Center for Urban Leadership, New York, NY; the Texaco Management Institute for Leadership Training, White Plains, NY; and the Duke University Center for Executive Leadership.  Warren is a graduate of Leadership Chattanooga. James H. McKissic
Chief Operating Officer
James McKissic is a native of Cleveland, TN and now lives in St. Elmo (which he feels is the best neighborhood in Chattanooga). He has worked in the nonprofit sector for the past sixteen years. James holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a Master of Public Administration from the Robert F. Wagner School at New York University and an executive certificate from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. James is passionate about empowering communities and changing lives and leads several of the Urban League's education programs. He is also a passionate arts advocate and painter, serving on the boards of the Association for Visual Arts (AVA), the City of Chattanooga Public Art Committee, the Hunter Museum’s Audience Development Committee and the City of Chattanooga Office of Multicultural Affairs Advisory Board. Ken Allen
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program Coordinator
Ken Allen is a native of Memphis, TN. Ken received his Bachelor of Science with a concentration in accounting from the UTC College of Business in May 2008.  He is currently the area coordinator for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This program has prepared over 5,000 returns under Ken Allen's leadership, which has saved local taxpayers over 1 million dollars in tax prep fees.  Ken is currently a member of Chattanooga Urban League Young Professionals, the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the Public Education Foundation Planning Committee. Julia Anderson

Workforce Development Specialist
Julia Anderson is a native of Memphis TN and has resided in Chattanooga for the last 30 years, a city she believes is one of the most beautiful areas in the country. She has worked in the nonprofit sector for several years and loves interfacing with people. Julia holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee State University, with graduate work from Memphis University. She is committed to opening doors and providing an earning opportunity for people who have been displaced. Her faith and continuous prayers often help to make the journey more bearable for those who are seeking new careers. In her training classes, she gets excited about new and upcoming opportunities for participants and encourages them to stay strong and positive while going through the career development process. Her love for people keeps her grounded and looking for new opportunities. She feels that, together, they can achieve success—even in an environment that suggests otherwise. Lakeisha Barr
Health Programs Coordinator
Lakeisha Barr is native of Nashville, TN and currently works for the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga as a Coordinator of Health Programs and is currently seeking further education in the health field. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Human Health and Performance from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2008.  Lakeisha has worked as a CNA for the past 6 years in different health care settings. Nicole Coker

Health Programs Coordinator

Nicole Coker is a native of Amherst, Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with the individualized concentration of Health Equality, a concentration primarily focused on how Community Health, Management and Health Politics can eliminate disparities in health and health care access within urban communities.  Nicole has a diverse background in work related to health and healthcare systems, including personal care, community organizing, public health research on NIH funded studies, Health Education, and health program planning. Lucy Hernandez
Finance Manager
Since 1999 Lucy Hernandez has served as Accountant for the Urban League. Lucy also has a background in the homebuyer market and since 2008 has used those skills to develop a Housing Program that includes Homebuyer Counseling and Financial Peace University a program that empowers individuals to get out of debt and build wealth. Pecola A. Lee
Community Health Navigator
Pecola A. Lee is a native of Chattanooga and graduated from Howard High School. She holds a Master of Science in Administration (with a concentration in Human Resources) from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Organization Management from Covenant College. She also holds several leadership designations, including: certification in Health & Quality of Life Division of Project Lead from the Nation Urban League; Whitney M. Young, Jr. Leadership Conference; Global Career Developmental Facilitation from The Center for Credentialing & Education; and PACE Facilitator from The University of Tennessee.  Pecola has worked as the Community Health Navigator for the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga for eleven years, assisting disadvantaged individuals with access to the health resources they need to thrive.  She is also an advocate for the American Diabetes Association and American Heart Association.  She is a member of the Weed & Seed Health Taskforce, Health Prevention Committee, Youth Advisor, and a member of her church Scholarship Committee. Keesha L. Marshall
Executive Assistant to President & CEO
Keesha Marshall is a life-long resident of Chattanooga and has over 20 years of experience in administrative, finance, real estate and property management services. She also is a licensed realtor, residential property manager and a bonded Hamilton County, Tennessee Notary.  Keesha is active in the community, serving as the Chair of the Economic Empowerment Committee for the Urban League Young Professionals Association. She holds an Associate's degree from Chattanooga State and is presently pursuing an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  Alysia Najjar
Program Assistant

Alysia Najjar
serves as a program assistant for the Urban League with focus on the Education programs. She enjoys working with people and watching them succeed. She graduated from Winthrop University in South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She looks forward to a career in serving others.
