The ACT Prep Workshop Hosted by the National Society of Black Engineers and UTC

Lights, Camera, ACT!! Are you ready?!?

The Chattanooga chapter National Society of Black Engineers is hosting an ACT prep workshop on Saturday, October 9th, 2010, for local high school students. They hope to aid students in their studying process and preparations. They plan to have college professors teach sessions on the different subject areas and give short practice tests. Space is limited to 100 students so send your completed application in today!

Urban League of Greater Chattanooga Works With Federal Reserve Bank of ATL, St. Louis and TAFI to Host Listening Tour

The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga is working with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and the Tennessee Alliance for Financial Independence (TAFI) in hosting one of the stops on a statewide listening tour. The Listening Tour will be held at The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga, 730 MLK Blvd. from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Sept. 28.

THE URBAN LEAGUE JOINS FORCES WITH THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANKS

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (September 4, 2010) – The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga is working with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, and the Tennessee Alliance for Financial Independence in hosting one of the stops on a statewide listening tour. Transferability of Credits Disclosure:

Credits earned at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga may not transfer to another educational institution. Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga. You should obtain confirmation that the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga will accept any credits you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer credits earned at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfer credits from the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga to another educational institution may be very limited. Your credits may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga if you enroll in another educational institution.

You should never assume that credits will transfer to or from any educational institution. It is highly recommended and you are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of credit policy of the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga and of any other educational institutions you may in the future want to transfer the credits earned at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
