ESCORE MINORITY CONTRACTOR TRAINING PROGRAM

The Urban League, in partnership with TVA, has developed the eScore Program to certify and train minority contractors to weatherize homes across its seven-state service area (Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Virginia)

The eScore Minority Contractor Training Program has three primary areas of focus:

Air sealing

Attic insulation

Duct sealing

TVA has developed the Quality Contractor Network (QCN) as part of the EnergyRight Solutions Programs. Contractors who complete the training will be elligible to become certified for TVA's Quality Contractor Network.

QCN members have the skill and the knowledge to help customers identify upgrades and/or systems, install them properly, service any equipment down the road and coordinate financing through local power companies.

Participating contractors should be in business for a minimum of one calendar year and have a valid business license.
