dscf5704Access to financial resources for college is critical to ensure disadvantaged students can pursue higher education. And that is why the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga partners each year with the Infinite Scholars Program, a national leader in recruiting minority and other students for college scholarship programs, to host an annual scholarship fair for public, private, and home school students in Hamilton County.

Impact
Each year, over $1.3 million in scholarships are made available to students in our community.

 

 


 

 

2010 Infinite Scholars Scholarship Fair:

 

What: 4th Annual Infinite Scholars Fair

 

When: Thursday, September 9, 2010 - 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

 

Where: Urban League of Greater Chattanooga, 730 M. L. King Blvd., Chattanooga, TN 37403

 

Who: Seniors and Juniors with a 2.7+ GPA (public, private and home school are all welcomed)

 

How: Online registration is required; please visit http://www.mohela.com/infinitescholar .

 

Why: 11th & 12th graders can meet with top college recruiters and admissions officers from more than 20 local and national colleges and universities. For those who qualify, college recruiters will issue scholarship awards and acceptance letters, perform onsite interviews and provide students with college materials and other helpful information.

 

Please bring a current copy of your high school transcript, evidence of your ACT score and 3 reference letters (resume is optional); each letter of reference should be written by a teacher, school administrator and/or a community leader.

 

School Administrators: If you are bringing a small or large group of students, please call Urban League at 423-756-1762 ext. 17 to register your group—groups are scheduled every hour and based on availability.
