Home Ownership Counseling

black_family_123151323_std The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga provides home ownership counseling to help individuals navigate the many requirements of purchasing a home, including an evaluation financial strength and credit scores, identifying potential lending barriers, and mortgage finance options. Owning a home also comes with many responsibilities, and home ownership counseling provides tools for basic financial management—including budgeting, saving, credit, and debt management—to ensure home owners maintain sound financial health and credit ratings and to reduce the rate of mortgage default.

Transferability of Credits Disclosure:

Credits earned at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga may not transfer to another educational institution. Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga. You should obtain confirmation that the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga will accept any credits you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer credits earned at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfer credits from the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga to another educational institution may be very limited. Your credits may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga if you enroll in another educational institution.

You should never assume that credits will transfer to or from any educational institution.
