That's why—with support from local, state and national partners—we offer programs that help prepare both children and adults for academic success. Programs like after-school tutoring and book distributions help give students the support they need in the classroom. And our special honors program, the National Achievers Society, rewards the area's most exceptional students. The results?

The majority of students who participate in our after school, summer, spring break and Saturday programs consistently score at proficient or advanced levels in reading and math, have great behavior, and learn early on about the importance of pursuing higher education and skills training. Transferability of Credits Disclosure:

Credits earned at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga may not transfer to another educational institution. Credits earned at another educational institution may not be accepted by the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga. You should obtain confirmation that the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga will accept any credits you have earned at another educational institution before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement. You should also contact any educational institutions that you may want to transfer credits earned at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga to determine if such institutions will accept credits earned at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga prior to executing an enrollment contract or agreement. The ability to transfer credits from the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga to another educational institution may be very limited. Your credits may not transfer and you may have to repeat courses previously taken at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga if you enroll in another educational institution.

You should never assume that credits will transfer to or from any educational institution. It is highly recommended and you are advised to make certain that you know the transfer of credit policy of the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga and of any other educational institutions you may in the future want to transfer the credits earned at the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga before you execute an enrollment contract or agreement.
